Word of God

We believe that the Bible in all of its sixty-six books, as canonized in the Old and New Testament, is the Word of God, fully inspired and without error in the original manuscripts, written under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit therefore making it the supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct.

Trinity

We believe that there is one living and true God, eternally existing in three persons. These persons are equal in every divine perfection, and execute distinct, but harmonious offices in the work of creation, providence, and redemption.

God the Father

We believe in God, the Father, an infinite, personal spirit, perfect in holiness, wisdom, power, and love. We believe that He concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs of men, that He hears and answers prayer, and that He saves from sin and death all who come to Him through Jesus Christ.

Jesus Christ

We believe in Jesus Christ, God’s only begotten Son. We believe that He was miraculously conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, wrought miracles, and taught truth to the people. We believe in His substitutionary atoning death on the cross, His bodily resurrection, and ascension into heaven where He ever lives to make intercession for His people. We believe in His imminent, personal, visual return to earth.

The Holy Spirit

We believe in the Holy Spirit who convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment, and to regenerate, sanctify, and empower all who believe in Jesus Christ. We believe that the Holy Spirit indwells every believer in Christ, and that He is an abiding helper, teacher, and guide.

Regeneration

We believe that all men are sinners by nature and by choice. All men therefore are under condemnation and wrath. We believe that those who repent of their sin and trust in Jesus Christ, as Savior, are regenerated (born again) by the Holy Spirit. All believers are no longer under condemnation and wrath but have a new nature that is born of God wherein all things are made new.

The Church

We believe in the universal church. This universal church is a living, spiritual body of which all regenerated believers are members, having Jesus Christ as the head. We believe in the local church that consists of a company of believers in Jesus Christ. These believers, upon a credible profession of faith, and associated internally and with other local churches for fellowship and worship. We believe that God has laid upon the members of the local church the primary task of making disciples of Jesus Christ. We believe in sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ, living and teaching the whole counsel of God, and fellowship including regular worship services and observance of the ordinances.

Christian Conduct

We believe that a Christian should live for the glory of God and the well-being of others, that a Christian conduct should be blameless before the world, that a believer should be a faithful steward of what God has given, and that a believer should seek to realize the full stature of maturity in Christ.

The Ordinances

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ has committed two ordinances to the local church: believer’s baptism and the Lord’s Supper. We believe in baptism of a believer by water in the name of the triune God. We believe that the Lord’s Supper was instituted by Jesus Christ as a memorial of His substitutionary death on the cross on our behalf. We believe that these two ordinances should be observed and administered until the physical, visible return of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Religious Liberty

We believe that every human being has direct relations with God and is accountable to God alone in all matters of faith and practice. Each church is independent and must be free from interference by any ecclesiastical or political authority.

Church Cooperation

We believe that local churches may promote the cause of Jesus Christ by cooperation with one another in denominational organizations. Such organizations, whether international, national, regional or district conferences, exist and function by the will of the churches. Cooperation in a conference is voluntary and may be entered or terminated at any time. Churches may likewise cooperate with inter-denominational fellowships on a voluntary and independent basis.

End Times

We believe in the physical and visible return of the Lord Jesus Christ to earth and the establishment of His kingdom. We believe in the resurrection of the body, the final judgment, the eternal rewards of the righteous, and the endless suffering of the wicked.

Marriage and Family

We believe that God ordained marriage at creation as the sacred union, one man and one woman, as determined by birth. All sexual relations must therefore be reserved for that union. Christian marriage is a representation of Christ’s relationship to His Church. We also believe that children are a blessing from God. Therefore, all human life is sacred and worthy of protection from the moment of conception.
