We are thrilled to announce our 3rd Annual Women's Bloom Conference, hosted by the Southeast Polk Family Church Women's Ministry. Our guest speaker this year will be, Judie Colyer, Women's Ministry Directory at Ankeny Free Church. We look forward to exploring together how to Live The Word.


Judie came from Great Britain as a young girl and through the witness of an aunt, came to know Jesus. She was blessed by attending a great church and grew in her Christian walk, leading to bible college and full time ministry. She and her husband, John, celebrated 43 years of marriage until God took him home while on a mission trip to Zambia, Africa in 2015. Together they served in youth, camp, education, missions and pastoral ministry.  


 Judie has been active for 25 years in women’s ministries with an emphasis on friendship evangelism as described in her book, “Homes of Light.” She delights in showing women how to know Jesus as their Savior, watching their ‘ah–hah moments’ in the Bible, and trusting God to do what they can’t do.


She has four sons and daughters-in-law, eight grandsons, and three granddaughters. In her spare time you will find her decorating homes, playing with the grands, or putting on a tea party. She is currently enjoying her renovated 107-year-old home and gardens in old town Ankeny.

Free-will offerings to help defray costs are humbly appreciated but are absolutely not obligated. We sincerely hope to provide more opportunities to our local women for encouragement and worship, so donations will enhance our ability to offer future events!
