What are Life Groups?
These are small groups of Christ followers at Southeast Polk Family Church that meet regularly for Prayer, Bible Study and Fellowship.
Why do we have Life Groups?
Life Groups are structured around the belief that deeper, more meaningful relationships happen outside of the large Sunday church gathering. Those involved in community groups are more likely to feel connected and have the understanding of what being the church is all about (Acts 2:42-47). These are also great opportunities to develop new friendships and grow spiritually in a family style atmosphere.
What goes on in a Life Group meeting?
Though each group differs in how they do things, many groups start with a time of fellowship and mutual encouragement and then have some sort of Bible study and Prayer time.
When and Where?
We currently have five active Life Groups available.
Two groups meet in homes on Sundays at 5 PM (One with Childcare, One No Childcare)
Our Adult Bible Study Life Group meets Sundays at 6 PM in the Family Church fellowship hall (No Childcare)
